Our '07 syrah grapes are from the Dry Creek Valley, 50% from the Del Carlo Vineyard, and 50% from the Russian River Dunn's Denn Vineyard.

The flavors of the 2007 syrah are blackberry with a deep, full bodied licorice texture in its tannins. Aged in Hungarian puncheons (a double barrel that slows down the aging process, which allows for subtleties to emerge).

As far as aging, this wine is a fortress and will easily age for 20 years yet. It is drinkable now.
