THE VINEYARDS
Our 2004 vintage is a
composite of some of the most respected growing regions of Northern
California. Using handcrafted small vineyards allows us to produce a pinot
with an exceptional level of quality. This particular release was an
exploration into the nature of pinot noir of the various growing regions. By
composing it that way, we achieved a worthy expression of the pinot noir
grape.
TASTING
NOTES
This wine is dark ruby
in color with aromas of dark cherry and smoked meats. The wine is full
bodied and well extracted, which results in a rich middle body, followed by
a long and somewhat acidic finish. The flavors duplicate the aromas of dark
fruits and smoke. The wine is unfined and unfiltered.
