This was our second year of producing chardonnay. The grapes are from Carmine Indindoli’s vineyard on Vine Hill School Road in Sebastopol. He grows delicious pinot noir as well as wonderful chardonnay grapes.

 This wine was 100% barrel fermented  20% malalactic fermentation and aged in 1 year old French oak barrels for 6 months. The wine is made in a riper California style with tropical fruit and honey textures. It is bright with significant acidity. The style of this wine is definitely not the over the top, buttery, malalactic style.

TASTING NOTES

 Because of minimal malalactic, the wine has substantial acidity and a long finish. This wine has an extended life and will age well in the bottle
