TASTING NOTES
The The grapes were picked at
ripe sugar levels. This crop was picked at 24.0 brix which then soaked
up to 25 brix, in the tank with a pH of 3.47. This process yielded a
wine that is balanced and not excessive in ripeness and showcases
typical berry fruit of a classic Dry Creek zin. The mouth feel has been
expanded through the addition of the Petit Verdot which was picked at
full maturity. The finish is long and enhanced by the firm acidity of
the Zinfandel fruit. |
